Nazra Quran Course

Learn to read the Quran — 10 simple lessons, at any age.

YOUR PROGRESS — 0 / 10 lessons

Lesson 1: The Arabic Alphabet

ا ب ت ث ج ح خ د ذ ر ز س ش ص ض ط ظ ع غ ف ق ك ل م ن هـ و ي

28 letters. Read them right to left. Say each one aloud — repeat until smooth.

Lesson 2: How Letters Join

Arabic letters change shape when joined. Most connect from both sides; six (ا د ذ ر ز و) only connect from the right. Practice: بـ + ـبـ + ـب = ببب

Lesson 3: Harakat — Fatha, Damma, Kasra

بَ بُ بِ تَ تُ تِ

Fatha ( َ ) = "a", Damma ( ُ ) = "u", Kasra ( ِ ) = "i". These short vowels bring letters to life.

Lesson 4: Tanween & Sukoon

بًا بٌ بٍ بْ

Tanween doubles the vowel with an "n" sound. Sukoon ( ْ ) means the letter has no vowel — it joins silently with the vowel before it.

Lesson 5: Madd — Elongation

بَا بُو بِي

When ا, و, or ی follow a matching vowel, stretch the sound. This is the beauty of Quranic recitation.

Lesson 6: Surah Al-Fatiha

The greatest chapter. Listen to a master reciter, read along, repeat until fluent.

Lesson 7: Surah Al-Ikhlas

Equal to one-third of the Quran in reward. Short, powerful, perfect for beginners.

Lesson 8: Al-Falaq & An-Nas

The two protectors (Mu'awwidhatayn). The Prophet ﷺ recited them for protection daily.

Lesson 9: Al-Kawthar & Al-Asr

Two short surahs, deep meanings. Memorize both — they take minutes.

Lesson 10: Your Daily Reading Habit

You can read! Now: one page a day, every day. Consistency beats intensity. Continue to the Hifz course when ready.

How to use this course

Do one lesson a day. Say everything aloud — Quran is meant to be recited, not just read silently. For correct pronunciation, listen to the reciters in our Hifz Studio and imitate them. There is no age limit: the course works for a 7-year-old and a 70-year-old alike.

This course teaches reading foundations. For tajweed rules in depth, learn from a qualified teacher alongside — this tool supports, not replaces, a teacher.
